Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is an ancient practice where a trained listener, or director, helps you attend to the inner workings of your soul. It’s a space to explore your story, your faith questions, your deepest doubts, and your most audacious hopes.

As a director, I am a co-discerner, a companion along your journey. I believe that growth is rarely linear and sometimes we must drop down in order to move forward. So, we come without an agenda, without the need to “work” on anything, but simply to be, to see what comes up, and discover where God might just be in the midst of it all.​
No formulas or "shoulds," just rehearsing the reality of God’s presence, even when God seems opaque
I come with a trust that God is with you, working God’s good work in you; I commit to holding that trust even when you may find it hard to believe. No matter where you are in your faith journey, direction offers a non-judgemental space to process and be heard.
Jesus-centered and psychologically Informed
Because we are integrated beings and all of our life is spiritual, you are welcome and encouraged to bring all aspects of your story and experience to our sessions. But, distinct from other therapeutic spaces, everything you share is listened to prayerfully and put into the larger context of your experiences with God in prayer and daily life.
Calming the chaos so that you can experience Jesus’ love.
We spend time in silence and guided prayer to allow your inner life to catch up with the present. Just as Jesus listens attentively when we come to Him, my intention is to listen in such a way that you internalize that you are worth spending time with. I invite you to drop down into your heart so God can love those deep places and you can experience abundant grace. This kind of transformation is a lifelong process, and this may be a season where you need an intentional companion embodying the tender presence of Jesus.
The details
When
Direction sessions are typically once a month and are 50 minutes long. Depending on your season, you may desire to meet more or less frequently. We can discern that together.
Where
We will meet via video conference or can discuss meeting in-person if you are in the St. Louis area.
Cost
My rate is a range between $60-90 per session. My desire is for spiritual direction to be accessible, and you are invited to decide on an amount within that range that is most doable for you. If you have other needs you would like to discuss, please feel free to contact me.
